The Paraíso tree also called Chinaberry, Cinamomo, and Melia Azedarach its original from the Himalayas and cultivated in Europe and America. It is commonly used as an ornamental shade tree. It fruits are poisonous to humans and the leaves could be used as a natural insecticide. The wood is a high quality timber.
During the long and hot summers of the Argentinian Pampas, the shadow of the Paraíso is very appreciated.
I have always enjoyed this tree, and during winter, leafless, but full of buds makes it even nicer to see.
